1 sweet onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
2 10-oz cans of cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon ground sage
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Add to the crockpot: Stuffing mix, onion, celery, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth to the slow cooker. Stir & mix well.
- Sprinkle the sage over the top.
- Place the chicken breasts on top of the stuffing mixture. Spinkle the top of the chicken with the salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours 30 minutes.
- Shred the chicken with two forks or remove and cut into bite-size pieces.
- Stir until well combined.
