Three 8 oz pkgs of cream cheese, softened
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 Pkg of Pillsbury Moist Supreme Devil Food Premium Cake Mix
1 Pkg of Pillsbury Moist Supreme Punmpkin Food Premium Cake Mix
Ingredients listed on the cake mix (usually eggs, water, oil/butter)
2 containers of Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Cream Cheese Frosting.
Use 9" cakes pans
- Preheat oven to temperature on cake mix.
- Prepare each cake mix as directed on the pkg. Bake. Cool.
- Beat the cream cheese & vanilla on high speed until light and fluffy. Add to this the 2 containers of frosting. Set aside.
- Cut each cake in half using a serrated knife.
- Place 1 chocolate cake layer on a platter. Put the cut side down. Spread 1 cup of the frosting on this. Top with a layer of the pumpkin cake, cut side down. Frost with 1 cup of frosting. Repeat layering.
- Frost sides of cake and garnish if desired. Chill until frosting is set.
