I got this recipe from my friend Amy. It has become a family favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 lb of boneless beef sirloin steak (1" thick) or 1 lb ground beef, cooked
- 1 tsp dried basil leaves
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tbs oil
- Two 14.5 oz cans of beef broth
- 1 16 oz can chunky-style salsa
- 1 lb of assorted vegetables of your choice
- 15 oz can of white beans
- 1 cup torn fresh spinach
- 5 cups chopped cabbage
Instructions
- Put in a pot and simmer until done.
