Baked English Omelette

Baked English Omelette
Serve this dish with English muffins and strawberry jam for a brunch, or a tossed salad along with some french bread for a dinner.
6 eggs
⅔ cup milk
¼ tsp
⅛ tsp pepper
1-1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 green onion, thinly sliced
8 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 tbs butter
1 tbs Parmesan cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 400 ◦
  2. Using a wire whisk beat the eggs until smooth.
  3. whisk in milk.
  4. Stir in 1 cup of the cheddar cheese, onion and half the bacon.
  5. Melt the butter in a 9" fry pan. Evenly distribute the butter.
  6. Pour in egg mixture.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until set.
  8. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses and top with remaining bacon
Health Note:
To reduce the fat and cholesterol, use 3 whole eggs and 3 egg whites, eliminate ½ cup of cheddar cheese.
Calorie count will then be 263 per serving
