Chocolate Truffle Pie (No Bake)

Ingredients
- ½ cup pecan pieces, toasted and coarsely chopped
- 6 oz ready to fill chocolate crumb crust
- Caramel Layer
- ¾ cup individually wrapped caramels (17 squares)
- ¼ cup canned evaportated ilk
- Truffle Layer
- 1-1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Garnish: Sweetened whipped cream
Instructions
- Sprinkle the pecans on the crust
- Caramel layer: Heat the caramels and milk in a heavy saucepan over low-heat, or in a microwavable bowl stirring often until the caramels are melted and the mixture is smooth. Pour over the pecans.
- Truffle Layer: Heat the chocolate chips, cream and butter in a havy saucepan over low-heat, or in a microwavable bowl. Stir until the chcolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Pour this over the caramel layer. Refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
- To serve: Pipe or spoon on the sweetened whipped cream.
