- In a sauce pan, heat: milk, sugar, salt, & oil/butter until lukewarm. Set aside.
- In a large bowl; add warm water and yeast; stir until yeast is dissolved.
- Add warm milk mixture to yeast mixture.
- Slowly add flour.
- Turn onto lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Place in a greased bowl; brush top with oil.
- Cover with a clean towel; let rise until doubled in bulk.
- Punch down; then divide dough in half; or shape into 15 rolls.
- Place into greased pans.
- Cover with clean towel; let rise in warm place until center is slightly higher than edge of pan.
- Preheat oven to 400°
- Bake rolls for 20 minutes and bread for about 30-40 minutes.
