Heath Bars

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
Saltine crackers
12 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup finely chopped nuts

  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • Line the bottom of a 9x13 ungreased pan with a single layer of saltine crackers.    
  • Boil for 3 minutes the brown sugar and butter.
  • Pour this evenly over the saltine crackers.
  •  Bake this for 4 minutes.
  • When melted spread chocolate evenly.
  • Sprinkle with the chopped nuts.
Cool completely before cutting or breaking into pieces.
