Brownie Cheesecake

1 pkg store bought brownie mix (or make it homemade)
4-8oz packages of cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
3 eggs
2 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted (This will be drizzled on the top)

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Line a 9x13 pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan.
  • Grease and flour pan.
  • Prepare brownie batter (either homemade or store bought) according to instructions.
  • Pour into baking pan.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until top of brownie is shiny and center is almost set. White it is baking move onto next step.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended.
  • Add sour cream. Mix well.
  • Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until center is almost set.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes prior to serving.
  • Lift cheesecake from pan, using the foil handles.
  • Drizzle with chocolate. Let stand until chocolate is firm.
