How To Whiten Clothes Naturally

My husband is allergic to bleach, to whiten clothing this is what I do:

1. Soak white clothing overnight in warm water with 1 cup of white vinegar. I will use this water in my wash cycle.

2. In a basin, tub or bucket, Slice one-two lemons, add hot water. Toss in clothing. Soak overnight. Remove lemons before washing. I will use this water as part of my wash cycle.

Wash cycle:

To wash machine, add laundry & water from above, Add hot water to make it hot again....Add laundry soap (I use homemade or Dr. Bronner's 18 in 1 natural soap).....1 cup baking soda......1 cup of peroxide

Rinse cycle:

Add 1 cup of white vinegar to water and some essential oils to make it smell good.

Line dry so that the sun can bleach them.

This is the soap I use. I use it for doing dishes, cleaning, bathing the dog, cleaning kitchen surfaces, bathing, washing my hair. It is very concentrated and a little goes a long way. Love this stuff! My last purchase was peppermint. My next purchase will be a bottle of the tea tree for my dog. It helps with fleas/ticks.
