Shrub | A Healthy Fruit Drink From the 1700's

To a 1/2 gallon jar I added this:

2 cups of raspberries, mashed (see photo below, I purchased the fruit in the store, each container held 1 cup) I would prefer my own, but I currently don't have any. You can use any fruit you prefer. I plan to experiment with different fruit and different sweeteners. This is my first batch. Organic fruit is best.

2 cups of organic apple cider vinegar with the mother in it. I used Braggs.

2 cups of your preferred sweetener. I used raw sugar. You may want to try maple syrup or honey. The choice is yours.

Shake the jar well. Allow to sit for 3 days before you use it. No need to refrigerate.

When ready to use, filter with a sieve.  I plan to mix it with sparkling mineral water. I had this bottle laying around so that's what I will use. In the below video she suggested adding about 2-3 tablespoons of the concentrate to the water. Looks like she added about 1 cup of the sparkling water. See below video.

Below is the video I got it from.
