How To Make A Milk Substitute

12 oz can of evaportated milk
Enough water to top off jar
1 quart size canning jar with lid
  • Shake the evaportated milk
  • Pour into quart size canning jar
  • Add enough water to top off jar

This is good to use in recipes that call for milk such as soups`, mac n cheese, puddings, pies etc...

Note: This will NOT taste like a glass of milk that you would drink along with those fresh from the oven homemade cookies.
