
2 large eggs
1 cup softened butter
1-1/2 cup sugar
1/4-1/2 tsp anise extract
3 cup flour
1-1/2 tsp aniseed
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
Frosting/Decorative sugar
Preheat oven to 375◦
Combine the flour, aniseed, salt, baking soda & powder. Mix well. Gradually add to the butter mixture.
Shape into 1-inch balls and place on greased baking sheets. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 375◦ for 6-7 minutes or until set.
Decorate cookies

Beat in eggs. add anise extract.Combine the flour, aniseed, salt, baking soda & powder. Mix well. Gradually add to the butter mixture.
