4 eggs
Lasagna noodles
1 head of garlic, minced
24 oz cottage or ricotta cheese
4 cans (15 oz) of pasta sauce or tomato sauce
1 cup Parmesan cheese + additional for top
2 cups of mozzarella cheese + additional for top
2 lb preferred meat (ground beef, sausage etc.)
- In a skillet, cook the meat and minced garlic is throughly cooked and no longer pink. Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine the cheeses and egg. Stir. Set aside.
- Combine the meat and pasta sauce. Mix well.
- Grease the bottom and sides of crock pot to prevent sticking.
- Put a spoonful or two of sauce in the bottom of crock pot.
- Place lasagna noodles over sauce.
- Next layer the cheese
- Repeat layers
- Top with extra mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cook for 4-5 hours on low.
