Cookies In A Jar | Hershey's




3/4 flour, all-purpose
1 cup rolled oats, quick or old-fashion
1 cup Hershey's Chocolate Chips (Dark, milk choc. or semi-sweet)
1/3 cup brown sugar, light and packed
1/3 cup sugar, granulated
1/2 cup Reese's peanut butter chips, Hershey's white chips, or a flavor of your preference.
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
  1. Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  2. In a quart size glass jar, layer in the following order... Granulated sugar... Tap the jar gently between the ingredients so that each layer settles before adding the next layer.....1 cup of chocolate chips, brown sugar, flour mixture, oats and peanut butter chips. 
  3. Top with a pretty lid, ribbons and recipe with directions.
Directions:
Additional Ingredients you need:
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 375
Empty the contents of this jar into a large bowl. Add the butter, egg and vanilla. Beat until well combined.
Drop the cookie dough by heaping teaspoon 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until done.  Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.


This recipe was in a recipe/coupon booklet I got from my local grocery store.. I also found the same recipe/photo on Hershey's website.
