Pie Crust | Mrs. Schildtknect's

3 cups flour
1-1/2 cup shortening
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
1 tsp vineger
2/3 measuring cup

  1. Combine: Flour, shortening and salt. Blend well and set aside.
  2. Inside a 2/3 measuring cup, beat the egg and then add the vinegar. Mix well. Add enough water to fill the measuring cup.
  3. Add this to the flour mixture and work until easy to roll.
* This recipe will make enough for 2 pies (top & bottom)
