Beef & Broccoli

2 lbs roast - slice into thin strips, cutting across the grain.
2 cups beef broth
2 bs sesame oil
2 tbs minced garlic
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1 cup soy sauce
2/3 cup placed brown sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
4 cups broccoli florets
White rice
  1. To a crockpot add brown sugar, garlic, chili flakes ,broth, soysauce, sesame oil and cornstarch. Whisk until combined.
  2. Add the beef.
  3. Cook on high 3-4 hours. If you prefer, you may cook it for low for 5-6 hours.
  4. Remove the lid during the last 30 minutes so the sauce can thicken up.
  5. Stream the broccoli florets, so they are done when the beef is ready to serve.
  6. Add the steamed broccoli and serve over hot white rice.
