2 lbs roast - slice into thin strips, cutting across the grain.
2 cups beef broth
2 bs sesame oil
2 tbs minced garlic
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1 cup soy sauce
2/3 cup placed brown sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
4 cups broccoli florets
White rice
- To a crockpot add brown sugar, garlic, chili flakes ,broth, soysauce, sesame oil and cornstarch. Whisk until combined.
- Add the beef.
- Cook on high 3-4 hours. If you prefer, you may cook it for low for 5-6 hours.
- Remove the lid during the last 30 minutes so the sauce can thicken up.
- Stream the broccoli florets, so they are done when the beef is ready to serve.
- Add the steamed broccoli and serve over hot white rice.
