Easy Chocolate Lover's Cheesepie

I purchased a book from the thrift store and this recipe card was inserted in the book.

The recipe should look pretty similiar to the above picture, except it will have chocolate chips in it.

three 8 oz pkg of cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanillaa
12 oz pkg of mini chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
Graham cracker pie crust
2 tbsp whipping cream

  • Preheat oven to 450
  • Beat the cream cheese and sugar until creamy. 
  • Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Fold in 1-2/3 cup of the mini chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Don't open the oven door, but reduce heat to 250; continue baking 30 minutes or until set.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate when cool.
  • Place the remaining 1/3 cup of chocolate chips and whipping cream in a microwave-safe bowl and melt for 20-30 seconds or until the chocolate is smooth. cool slightly and spread evenly over the top of cheesepie.
