2 lbs ground beef
1 envelope of beef onion dry soup mix
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tbs flour
14 oz can beef broth
1-1/2 cup whole milk
1/4 cup sour cream
8 oz pkg egg noodles
- Combine the beef, dry soup mix, egg and chopped onions,
- Make 1" meatballs, set on a wax-paper lined sheet.
- Heat oil in a skillet. Add meatballs and cook until browned and thoroughly cooked, about 10-15 minutes.
- Put the cooked meatballs in a paper-towel lined bowl.
- Add flour to skillet and cook for a few minutes, scraping up and the browned bits.
- Stir in broth and milk.
- Return meatballs to skillet. Stir until the liquid has thickened the meatballs are coated.
- Remove from heat and add sour cream.
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- To serve, pour meatballs and sauce over the hot noodles.
