Baked English Omelette
Serve this dish with English muffins and strawberry jam for a brunch, or a tossed salad along with some french bread for a dinner.
Ingredients
6 eggs⅔ cup milk
¼ tsp
⅛ tsp pepper
1-1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 green onion, thinly sliced
8 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 tbs butter
1 tbs Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 ◦
- Using a wire whisk beat the eggs until smooth.
- whisk in milk.
- Stir in 1 cup of the cheddar cheese, onion and half the bacon.
- Melt the butter in a 9" fry pan. Evenly distribute the butter.
- Pour in egg mixture.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until set.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheeses and top with remaining bacon

Health Note:
To reduce the fat and cholesterol, use 3 whole eggs and 3 egg whites, eliminate ½ cup of cheddar cheese.
