Chocolate-Caramel Dipped Pretzels




3 cups chopped nuts of your choice
28 oz caramels
2 tablespoon water
20 oz pretzel rods
24 oz chocolate almond bark
24 oz white almond bark
Sprinkles (optional)


  1. Place nuts in a shallow pan. Set aside
  2. Line a pan with wax paper, and set aside.
  3. In a microwavable bowl, put 1 tablespoon and half the caramels in microwave and heat on high in one minute intervals until the caramels are melted. Stir after each minute. 
  4. Dip 3/4 of each pretzel into the melted caramel.
  5. Roll in almonds. Place on wax paper until set.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5.
  7. In another microwavable bowl, melt a few squares of the white almond bark, stir until smooth. Dip half the the caramel coat pretzel rods in the white chocolate. Add sprinkles ifdesired.
  8. Repeat Step 7, but use the chocolate almond bark.
