Cherry Dipping Sauces




Cherry Chocolate Sauce


1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
4 oz bar of German sweet chocolate, chopped
2 tablespoons cherry brandy (Kirch)
Cherries for dipping
  1. In a saucepan over low heat, add cream and butter.
  2. When butter is melted, add chocolate and simmer until melted.
  3. Remove from heat and add cherry brandy
  4. Pour into a bowl. Allow to cool before dipping cherries
Serving size is 2 tablespoons

White Chocolate Amaretto Sauce

1/2 Cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
4-oz bar of white chocolate, chopped
2 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
Cherries for dipping 

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, add cream and butter.
  2. When butter is melted, white chocolate and simmer until melted.
  3. Remove from heat and add amaretto liqueur
  4. Pour into a bowl. Allow to cool before dipping cherries

 Serving size is 2 tablespoons..........I think this would be wonderful as an ice cream topping
