Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 13 fun size Snickers (or other snack-size candy bars)
- Garnish: Cut up Snickers bars and chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Grease a 9-inch glass pie pan.
- In a saucepan, heat the butter and brown sugar until it begins to bubble. Remove from heat. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
- Stir in one egg and vanilla.
- Add the baking powder and flour. Mix well.
- Pour ¾ cup of the the batter into the center of the pie pan, but don't spread. Freeze for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt ½ cup of chocolate chips in the microwave and pour into the remaining batter.
- Add the other egg and cocoa to the battter.
- Remove the pie pan out of the freezer and press the chilled batter evenly over the bott om of the pie pan.
- Top with the 13 candy bars, left whole.
- Top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 24-27 minutes.
- Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the top while still hot. allow to sit for 5 minutes and spread evenly.
