1-1/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
3-1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet
1 cup roughly chopped walnuts.
- Preheat oven to 375 ◦
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and baking powder. Set aside.
- In a separte small bowl combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Mix and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add oil, 3/4 cup sugar, and vaniila.
- Gradually add the flour mixture, stir until fully mixed.
- Fold in the walnut and chocolate chips.
- dived the doough into 6 equal portions and shape each piece into a 2" wide loaf.
- Roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. (See step 4) Place on cookie sheet
- Bake until a light golden-brown. about 15-20 minutes.
- Slice the bread on a diagonal, about 3/4-inch wide. Place the cut-side up.
- Bake for another 12-15 minutes.
