Pasta Primavera With A Twist


1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/8 t. garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups broccoli florets
1 cup thinly sliced carrots
2-1/2 cups of corkscrew pasta (2 cups dry)
One 10-3/4 oz can of cream of chicken & broccoli soup
Two 5 oz cans of canned or 10 oz cooked chicken breast


  • Combine in a saucepan over medium heat, soup,milk, cheese, spices, broccoli &carrots.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Cover and cook over low heat until vegetables are tender.(about 10-15 min) Stir often.
  • While the sauce is cooking, make pasta according to package directions.
  • Add chicken to sauce. Heat through.
  • Serve the sauce over the pasta.

* I got this recipes from the weekend coupon inserts (1994). I have not yet tried it. 
It recommends Swanson white chicken and Campbell's soup.
Wow! I tore this out over 21 years ago!
