
2 cups flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pint huckleberries (blueberries also work well for this recipe)

- Preheat oven to 400°
- Combine flour, salt. baking soda & baking powder. Sift. Set aside.
- Combine the sugars. sour cream, eggs, buttermilk and butter.
- Add the huckleberries to the dry mixture. Toss lightly to coat.
- Add the wet ingredients, stirring just until mixed. Don’t over stir.
- Fill a muffin pan 2/3 full.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
Makes 12 large muffins or 18 small ones.
