How to make Your Guest Feel At Home

Live Well-Love Often-Love Much Peel & Stick Single Sheet

Your home should reflect the personality of the people who live there. People are more apt to feel “at home” in houses where the host have taken the time to surround themselves with things they love. When someone enters our home they immediately have a sense of what we like to read , what we collect, what our hobbies are, & how we like to spend our spare time. Your home should have objects that remind you of who you are and what you love. Perhaps a cluster of family photos on a wall or on the mantle. Why not fill up several areas of your home with smiling familiar faces! I’ve got pictures on the refrigerator, some on my mantle, dresser, walls etc…. Do you have a collection that has a story to tell every time you look at them? For instance, do you collect nic-nacs in different places you’ve been. I know one person that collects spoons, another who collects refrigerator magnets, T-shirts, and yet another who collects coffee cups. My personal collections include books, snowmen, recipes and cookbooks. My husband loves antiques bottles & ole-time music, and has a nice collection of both. All of these item fit together like the pieces that make up the puzzle of our lives. A small rocking chair and toys you have in the corner, may remind you of your children or grandchildren. All of these manage to come together in a comforting, homey atmosphere that says to your guest, “These are the things we love, it is who we are, and we’d like to take the time to get to know you better! “** I was looking for a pretty picture to add to this post, and I ran across the above photo. At first I thought it was just a regular photo, then I realized that the Live, Laugh, & Love that you see in the above photo at the top of this post is actually a wall decal that is available for purchase. I think it is a beautiful way to beautify our homes. Each word is individually cut allowing for versatility and flexibility to decorate that perfect space. Unlike stencils or permanent rub-on transfers the quotable is instantly removable with no sticky residue or damage to the surface. It is just Peel & Stick, Repositionable, and easy to remove. And what a deal for only $7.99! I’m going to add it to my wishlist!
Below is a decal I purchased from Walmart of a few dollars
