Homemade Root Beer

1 teaspoon yeast
1-1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons Rootbeer extract
1 gallon water in glass containers

Heat 1 cup of the water until lukewarm.
Add yeast and stir until yeast is dissolved.
Add sugar to the yeast mixture. Stir.
Pour into the water. Shake well.
Sit in sun or a warm place for at least 4-5 hours.

* If made in the morning will be ready by lunch time.

Store in refrigerator.
