1 box of Keebler Club crackers (my preference, you can use what you like)
14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup butter
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
6 oz bag of semisweet chocolate chips

- Preheat oven to 350 °
- Line a 9″ square baking pan with foil; making sure it is draped over.
- Lightly grease the foil.
- Arrange a single layer of crackers in the pan.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine: milk, sugar, syrup and butter.
- Bring to a boil. Stir occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to a low boil; stirring constantly for 7 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Spread 1/3 of the caramel mixture over the crackers.
- Add another layer of crackers.
- Pour another 1/3 of caramel over those crackers. Repeat.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips over caramel immediately.
- Let stand about 5 minutes or until glossy.
- Spread evenly over the top.
- Cover and refrigerate until set. about 2 hours.
- Using foil, lift the bars out of pan and cut into bars.
Makes 27 3″ x 1″ Bars
