Creamy Parmesan Pasta

2-1/2 cups uncooked dried pasta
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons butter
3 cups of broccoli florets
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 lb cooked chicken strips, heated
1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
garlic salt, to taste
  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Set aside.
  • In a skillet melt butter and add broccoli. Cook until tender. (6-10 minutes)
  • In a saucepan add whipping cream and 1/4 cup of better and heat until butter is melted. Add the Parmesan cheese and cook for 5-6 minutes until the cheese mixture is creamy. (6-7 minutes) Remove from heat.
  • Pour the cheese sauce over the pasta. Top with broccoli, bacon pieces, chicken and sprinkle with garlic salt.
Makes six 1 cup servings
