CHOCOLATE CARAMEL MATZOS





These decked-out Matzo’s are great for the Passover.
6 matzo crackers
1 cup butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
Toppings:
Peppermint candies, finely crushed
Sweetened, shredded coconut
Nuts, finely chopped
Sprinkles, if you have children
  • Preheat oven to 350 °
  • Line a cookie sheet with greased foil.
  • Arrange the matzos in an even layer. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan, over medium-high heat, heat the butter and sugar and stir constantly until thickened; about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour evenly over matzos making sure to spread evenly.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until caramel is bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top. Allow to sit for 5 minutes. Spread evenly over matzos. Sprinkle with your preferred topping
