1 quart (2 cans, or 16 oz frozen) french cut green beans
2 oz shredded Mozzerella cheese
2 T. Butter
2T Flour
2 t Grated onion
1 t. Salt
1/4 t Ground pepper
1 t. Sugar
1 C. Sour cream
1 C. Crushed corn flakes, tossed with a few t. of additional butter.
- Preheat oven to 400 ◦
- Place greenbeans in a buttered casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the cheese over the greenbeans. Set aside.
- In a sauceman over med-low heat, melt the butter.
- Add onions, saute for 5 minutes.
- Add sour cream, flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir until thickened and bubbly.
- Pour this mixture over the greenbeans.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
*I have not yet tried this.
