3 tablespoons skim milk
6 tablespoons softened butter
2 tablespoons honey
2 eggs
4 teaspoons whey protein powder
1-3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspon baking soda
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 teaspoon cinnamon
6 oz chopped, walnuts
- Preheat oven to 350◦
- Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
- In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda., Mix well and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the butter, honey & milk and beat until light & fluffy.
- Gradually add the eggs and protein powder.
- Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir until batter is well blended.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes.
