Macaroons 2


1/3 cup flour
2-1/2 cup flaked sweetened coconut
1/8 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 oz melted chocolate (white, milk, or dark)
  • Preheat oven to 350 °
  • Grease a cookie sheet
  • Combine flour, coconut and salt.
  • Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Stir until well mixed.
  • Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, drop onto cookie sheet 1″ apart.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. These burn easily so keep an eye on them.
  • When completely cooled, dip top halve into melted chocolate. Can be served when the melted chocolate has set.
