Caramel Ice Cream Sauce





Ingredients
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ⅓ cup half & half
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch.
  2. Stir in the cream, water and corn syrup. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Bring to a boil and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
  5. Can be served hot or cold.
  6. Refrigerate leftovers.
