Caramel Apple Jam


Ingredients
  • 6 cups diced & peeled apples
  • ½ cups water
  • ½ teaspoons butter
  • 1 pkg pectin
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ntmeg
Instructions
  1. In a skillet combine the apples, water and butter.
  2. Cover and simmer over low heat until the apples are soft.
  3. Stir in the pectin - Bring to a boil. Stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat. Skim off the foam.
  5. Ladle into ot sterilized jars.
  6. Process for 10 minutes in water bath.
