Ingredients
- 6 cups diced & peeled apples
- ½ cups water
- ½ teaspoons butter
- 1 pkg pectin
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ntmeg
Instructions
- In a skillet combine the apples, water and butter.
- Cover and simmer over low heat until the apples are soft.
- Stir in the pectin - Bring to a boil. Stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat. Skim off the foam.
- Ladle into ot sterilized jars.
- Process for 10 minutes in water bath.
