Red Wine Mushrooms



2 tablespoon butter
1 garlic clove, crushed
8 oz package of fresh mushrooms, cleaned and cut in half
3 tablespoons finely diced onion
1 teaspoon fresh tarragon icon
1/2 cup red wine
Salt & pepper to taste.

  • In a large skillet icon over medium heat, melt butter.
  • Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
  • Stir in mushrooms, onion & tarragon.
  • Salt & pepper to taste.
  • Saute until mushrooms start to brown. Stir occasionally. (about 6 minutes)
  • Add red wine an reduce heat.
  • Simmer until wine is evaporated and mushrooms are tender, about 10 minutes.
  • Refrigerate leftovers.
