2 tablespoon butter
1 garlic clove, crushed
8 oz package of fresh mushrooms, cleaned and cut in half
3 tablespoons finely diced onion
1 teaspoon fresh tarragon
1/2 cup red wine
Salt & pepper to taste.
- In a large skillet
over medium heat, melt butter.
- Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds.
- Stir in mushrooms, onion & tarragon.
- Salt & pepper to taste.
- Saute until mushrooms start to brown. Stir occasionally. (about 6 minutes)
- Add red wine an reduce heat.
- Simmer until wine is evaporated and mushrooms are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
