French Onion Soup



Combine the 1st four ingredients:
5 large sweet onions, sliced
2 cans of beef broth
2 cans beef consume
1 pkt of french onion soup
 Gruyere cheese, shredded
1 french baguette loaf, cut in 1/2″ slices
  • Put soup in crock pot on high for 4 hours.
  • Ladle soup into oven-proof soup bowls.
  • Place a slice of bread on top of soup
  • Place cheese over bread
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Place under broiler for 3 minutes.
