Roasted Asparagus With Thyme

6 oz of asparagus spears
1 garlic clove, halved
1 teaspoon oil (or water if you prefer a vegan dish)
1 pinch of dried thyme
salt & pepper to taste

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Rub the cut sides of garlic over an 8 x8-inch baking dish;
  • Cut the garlic in tiny pieces and sprinkle in bottom of pan.
  • Add asparagus and drizzle with oil.
  • Sprinkle with spices.
  • Toss gently to coat.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, stir once during the baking time.
