Dumplings



2/3 cup flour
1 tablespoon snipped parsley
1 teaspoon powder
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoon cooking oil
1/8 teaspoon dried basil, thyme, or dill weed.

  • Mix above ingredients.
  • Drop from a teaspoon on top of boiling mixture.
  • Cover
  • Simmer 10-12 minutes. Do no lift cover during this time.
  • They're finished when a toothpick comes out clean.
* Can reduce flour to 1/3 cup and add 1/3 cup of shredded cheddar or Monterrey Jack cheese.
