Chocolate Scotcheroos



1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch morsels
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal.

  1. Put corn syrup and sugar into a sauce pan and cook over medium heat stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture begins to boil.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir into peanut butter. Mix well.
  4. Add Rice Krispies. Stir until coated.
  5. Press mixture into a greased 9x13 pan.
  6. Melt chocolate and butterscotch morsels together in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.
  7. Spread evenly over cereal mixture.
  8. Let stand until firm.
