Cherry Pie


2 tablespoons corn starch
3/4 cup sugar
1-1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter
1 (3-1/2 oz cherry jello
1 teaspoon almond extract
Enough sour cherries to fill a pie crust.
Pie crust (Top & bottom)


  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • In a saucepan, combine all ingredients (except for cherries and pie crust)    
  • Stir well, and bring to a boil.
  • Put cherries in an unbaked pie crust.
  • Pour mixture in saucepan over cherries.
  • Put on the top crust.
  • Bake for 45 minutes.
