Carrot Cake



2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
4 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup melted butter
3 cups of shredded carrots
pinch of ground cloves


  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Combine above ingredients.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until fork inserted comes out clean.
