Apple Pie # 2


    6 large apples
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
     3/4 cup sugar (you may want to add more if apples are tart)
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    1 tablespoon flour 


  • Peel core and slice 6 large apples. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 
  • Pour the apples into pie crust.
  • Combine the sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and flour. Sprinkle over the apples.
  • Top with 1 tablespoon of butter that is cut into small pieces.
  • Cover with top crust.
  • Brush with milk.
  • Sprinkle with topping.

Topping:

Combine:
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter
