Tortilla (Homemade)

4 cups of all purpose flour. (Can substitute with up to half corn flour, oat flour or whole wheat flour)
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons shortening or butter
1-1/4 cup water
Flour for rolling

  • Combine above ingredients.
  • Form 12 equal sections.
  • Cook in heated skillet on med-high on stove. Cook on both sides.
