Overnight Waffles (Make the night before)

1-3/4 cup buttermilk (or regular milk)
8 tablespoons butter (1/2 cup)
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 teaspoon or 1 pkt of dry yeast
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

  • Melt butter.
  • Whisk in milk/buttermilk. Heat until lukewarm.
  • Add dry yeast.
  • Whisk in eggs & vanilla.
  • Add flour, sugar, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
  • Pour into a bowl and refrigerate for 12-24 hours.
  • Heat waffle iron and prepare waffles according to waffle iron instructions.
