No-Bake Cookies (Chocolate & Peanut Butter versions)



Chocolate:

Boil for 1 minute:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter

Remove from heat and add:
3-1/2 cups oatmeal (quick or old fashion, doesn't matter-whatever you have on hand)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter.
  • Drop spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • Refrigerate until firm
Peanut Butter

Boil for 1 minute:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter

Remove from heat and add:
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup peanut butter
2-1/2 cup quick oatmeal





  • Drop spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.

  • Refrigerate until firm


  • * I have made both of these cookie versions a ton of times. Don't get discouraged if you make it and it turned out dry and crumbly or too gooey. This will happen from time to time. You can make it the same exact way each and every time and once in a while this is bound to happen. I heard the weather affects the outcome....when it doesn't work out...blame it on the weather!

     Personally, I love them when they turn out gooey and have to be kept in the freezer!
