Cornbread





1-1/2 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup butter (melted)
4 tablespoons sugar

  • Preheat oven to 425°
  • Combine above ingredients, mix well.
  • Grease a baking pan and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until a light golden brown.
