Spicy Fried Chicken

This is suppose to be a copycat version of Popeye's fried chicken. Chuck said he didn't think it tasted like the original, but he still liked this recipe.

Coating:
2 tablespoon of white pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2/3 cup of flour
2 teaspoons paprika
1 talespoon salt

3 eggs, beaten

6 cups vegetable oil

One chicken cut up into pieces.

  • Heat oil
  • Combine spices.
  • Dip chicken in egg, then coat in flour
  • Place chicken on rack for 20 minutes before frying.
  • Fry until golden brown and juices run clear.

  1. Heat 6 cups of oil in skillet
